Yellow Autumn Raspberry

Rubus idaeus ‘Golden Everest’

This Rubus produces beautiful yellow raspberries every two years that can be processed into delicious jams, fruit juices or jellies. This climber produces new shoots from the ground every spring. If you attach these shoots to a fence or guide them via wire, it will give fruit the following year. It is best to let only the thick, sturdy shoots grow on. Rubus raspberries are edible from June, July and then again in late August, September. The taste sweet and aromatic.

Prune the branches that have borne fruit in autumn completely, as they die off in the autumn itself to be replaced by new shoots in spring.
